OUR STORY
Our love story began in the most modern way—on Hinge. Hear from both of us as we share our love story.
If you ask Zach, I had just returned home from a long day at work. I checked my phone, and I had a message from a pretty woman named Nell. 3 weeks later, armed with a bouquet of red roses, we went on a date. Then we went on a couple more, but Nell said the timing was not right. What???!!! Fast forward a year, and I thought maybe I should reach out to Nell and see how she was doing. So...we went on our second -First new date and guess what? Again, I was armed with a bouquet of red roses, and a month later, we knew there was no turning back. A few months later, after an awesome summer and many adventures, I knew that Nell was the woman for me. It took almost a month of planning with some help, and I asked her to marry me on the bridge at the ranch in Wilsall. We were both nervous, and I accidentally put the ring on the wrong finger, but she still said yes. Since then, we have done everything together, from going to Banff, to river rafting on the Yellowstone, and me splashing Nell, her screaming so loudly and almost scaring my dad out of the raft, to the time in Vail, Colorado, with Nell’s family for Christmas. Wherever I go, or she goes, we are always with each other, and I have found the best travel companion I could ever ask for. She is also my go-to for movies, celebrities, and music trivia. Nell is my partner in crime, and we are so excited to share our special day with all our friends and family.
If you ask Nell, call me a hopeless romantic, but I always knew someday that I would meet the man of my dreams. I had no idea that he would be my knight in shining armor, and what would you know, I fell completely in love with Zach from Big Timber, Montana. He works in the mines, bringing a steady strength to all he does. Over the summer, we fell more in love than we ever imagined. We went to three weddings together, celebrated with countless toasts, and through every laugh, every adventure, our families grew to adore us as a couple. Something that is very important to us is the love we both have for our families. I will always remember the first time my parents met Zach at the ranch in Wilsall. We went up to meet my parents and a brand-new colt named Brego. It was such a magical day - it was as if everyone had known each other forever. And we came to find out that our families had a deeper connection; my parents had ranched with Zach’s great uncle Johnny for many years. It felt like meeting Zach was meant to be. Our families are just as excited about our wedding as we are, eagerly awaiting this beautiful future we’re building together.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you all.
Love-
Nell & Zach
